Pride

In the Shelter world one year anniversaries aren't really something to look forward to. As a shelter dog it means you have been looking for your forever family a long long time. Well Pride was not far from his one year anniversary back in the Spring. As some of you know in March the Shelter had an open house and I had the great fun of taking photos. I met this sweet sister and brother team named Mary Beth Helms and Corey Helms. They brought their own dogs in for photos. I distinctly remember as they left I asked them to remember the shelter when they were ready for a new addition. Mary Beth and I became fb friends and she saw my feature of Pride at the lake one day. She wanted to help him not become a one year resident ! Well she graduated from college and got a place of her own soon and she adopted our Pride . Pride has an Uncle Corey who owns his furry cousin Roscoe. He has a furry brother named Casper who loves to get his photo taken too! Pride is a very quick learner who is obedient and he loves squeaky chew toys, running , and jumping like an acrobat.
